Since the age of 8 years old, Don Kline Jr has been playing guitar and singing. Not long after, the songwriting began. Don is an identical twin, the older one. James Kline was born 11 minutes after Don and soon found a passion for pen, paper and words. Over the years the two have worked together on many songs with continued success.

Don's first project was a Kiss cover band with best friend Doug Hagey. Growing up mostly in Ontario, north and south of Toronto, there were two things that drew his attention; playing guitar and hockey. Mr. Kline coached the twins for many years in Lindsay and Brantford, home of the "great one", Wayne Gretzky.

The Kline family moved out west in the spring of 1980. Sidney, a small town on Vancouver Island, would serve as their new home and leave a lasting impression on Don forever. The Gulf Islands became part of Don's blood which would carve out his own perspectives on world politics, love, war and family values.

Over the next 2 decades Don Kline Jr would school himself in jazz and the business of commercial music. His passion for teaching has lasted alongside with the desire to play and write in many different studio and live projects. Currently JR is preparing for his 8th annual student recital at Capilano College Theatre where students are given the opportunity to play on a professional stage in solo and group arrangements. Kline presents some of his own craft every year with the help of singer-songwriter meshe (Michelle Dumond), also a twin.

Musically Inklined is expanding into the record business. MINK records is growing some sweet fruits that will be ripe in the spring of 2007.
